Roles & Responsibilities

Chairperson - Rob Aylward 

  • Chair Committee Meetings

  • Lead Club Direction

  • Represent the club in a positive and professional manner

  • Organise and run regular committee meetings

  • Abide by the code and conduct of the football club

Club Secretary - Lucy Aylward

  • Responsible for all correspondence in and out of the club Register the club with the FA

  • Process all player registrations and organise signing on evenings

  • Register the club with the leagues

  • Ensure the correct Administration of the Club

  • Enforce League rules & regulations

  • Attend NW&DF League meetings

 

Club Treasurer - Jess Dixon 

  • Responsible for the finances of the club

  • Process income and expenditure of the club ensuring the best use is made of club funds

  • Ensure that an audited set of accounts is available for each years AGM

  • Represent the club in a positive and professional manner

  • Attend regular committee meetings

  • Abide by the code and conduct of the football club

 

General Committee Member

  • Attend regular committee meetings

  • Help with club activities where appropriate

  • Abide by the code and conduct of the football club

Club Welfare Officer - Nicola Lloyd

  • Ensure the club’s activities are always run in accordance with Child Protection policies

  • Attend regular committee meetings

  • Abide by the code and conduct of the football club

  • Refer any club child protection or poor practice concerns to the CFA CPO

  • Seek advice from The FA/NSPCC Helpline if the CFA CPO is unavailable or in circumstances of child protection urgency

  • Seek advice from local Social Services or the Police in an emergency

  • Encourage the club to discuss and implement The FA’s Child Protection Policy Encourage the club to utilise The FA’s Child Protection and Best Practice Guidelines on recruiting volunteers and always requesting and following up references  Encourage the club to discuss and implement The FA’s Child Protection and Best Practice Guidelines on the use of images and organising travel, trips and tournaments  Advocate that the CRB Disclosure be used as part of the club’s safeguarding initiatives and encourage the club to make use of The FA CRB Unit  Support the club in identifying those who require a CRB Disclosure

  • Promote, support and encourage the benefits of the child protection and best practice education and awareness programme.

The CWO will promote best practice throughout the club and play a key role in dealing with poor practice concerns in line with the club’s own disciplinary process.

Communications - Kathryn Reed 

  • Develop club commmunication channels and ensure they are updated regularly. (e.g  website, facebook page)

  • Ensure events and club notifications are communicated to the teams, players, parents and wider community in a timely and appropriate manner.

Team Managers/Coaches

  • Register players during the signing on period

  • Attract players to the club

  • Organise training for their team

  • Arrange matches with opponents

  • Attend league managers meetings

  • Responsible (but funded by club) to take FA Coaching Level 1 course and First Aid Course Attend regular committee meetings

  • Arrange for match reports and club articles to be printed in local appropriate newspapers

  • Follow the rules of the league their team is entered Abide by the code and conduct of the football club
